about

On an unspecified date in December 1943 Tyson and Baugh found themselves in a physical altercation with a local transient named Elmer Ellsworth, whom Baugh had mortally injured with a bottle to the head. Rather than risk Ellsworth’s corpse being found, they would drag the body into the processing portion of the facility and dispose of the man’s carcass using the available machinery. The next morning, as the two men were aligning their stories on the slaughterhouse floor, a newly hired maintenance worker overheard and chimed in.

“you put the body in here” pointing to the pan of the grinder.
“Yes” Baugh replied. Tyson’s eyes darted around the room.
“and it went through all of this” He pointed to the entirety of the machine.
“Yes” Tyson replied,
“And it came out there?” the maintenance worker gulped, pointing to the grinder plate.
“Yes it did” Baugh said sternly following Tyson’s lead.
recognizing the inevitable outcome of the situation, the worker took a deep breath,
“But where does the soul come out?”

the worker was never seen or heard from again. His name is unknown.
